Royal Air Force of Oman rescues five hikers

Muscat: Five citizens, who were lost while hiking, have been rescued by the Royal Air Force of Oman. One of them was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The Ministry of Defence said in a statement online: "The Royal Air Force of Oman, in coordination with Search and Rescue Center, carried out a search and rescue operation for five people who were lost while hiking in the mountains. They were transferred from Jabal Nakhl to Al Musannah Air Base, and one of them was transferred to Al-Rustaq Hospital for treatment."
