Cyclone Kyarr: Classes suspended in some schools in Oman

Muscat: Classes at some schools in South Al Sharqiyah have been suspended owing adverse climactic conditions.

Said Al Sadi, Shura member of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, said in a statement: "For the safety of our students we have been coordinated with the General Directorate of South Al Sharqiyah to suspend the study in some schools in the state of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, the roads leading to which are cut off in the current climatic conditions and we thank the South Al Sharqiyah Education directorate for responding with us."
