Muscat to host musical talent show

Muscat: The Dar Al Atta’a Let’s Read Programme has announced the launch of a fund-raising musical talent show, ‘Rising Stars’ for 12–18 year olds.
“We are looking to showcase musically talented singers and musicians who perform either individually or as part of a group. The auditions will take place later this month and the final show will be held in the Al Bustan Palace Ritz Carlton auditorium in January,’ said Jane Jaffer from Let’s Read.
Application forms
Flyers and application forms can be obtained from the Let’s Read Bookshop on 3rd floor of Oman Avenues Mall and from McDonalds outlets.
To audition for the final, teenagers can also apply online at [email protected] an application form which should be filled in and returned to the Let’s Read Bookshop together with a fee of OMR2. Thanks to the sponsors; McDonalds, Tunes, Oman Avenues Mall and Tracs, the winners of the Rising Stars Show will receive a cash prize in addition to a possible studio recording and a video featuring their music.
The deadline to enter is 17 November 2019.
