Muscat Municipality launches campaign to combat mosquitoes

Muscat: The Muscat Municipality has stressed on the responsibility of building contractors to not leave water tanks open at construction sites to prevent mosquitoes from breeding.

The Municipality issued a statement online and said, "Muscat Municipality in Al Seeb has intensified its efforts to detect and investigate the causes and breeding points of mosquitoes in the buildings under construction and emphasises the responsibility of the building contractors not to leave the water tanks open at the construction sites in order to avoid violations under the local order No.(2006/1).”
