Over 150 expat workers arrested in Oman

Muscat: Inspection teams in Muscat arrested more than 150 expat workers during a campaign to detect labour law violations.

“During the period between 21 and 28 December 2019, the Ministry of Manpower, represented by the inspection team in Muscat, deported 189 expat workers who were caught for violation of the Labour Law,” the Ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry stressed the necessity of commitment to the laws and ministerial decisions implemented in this regard.
