Over 90 people arrested by ROP

Muscat: More than 90 individuals have been arrested in July 2020 on different charges of theft, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced.

A statement issued online by ROP said, “In July, the Royal Oman Police arrested 93 individuals for 86 incidences of theft in various governorates of the Sultanate."

"The ROP commends the cooperation of citizens and residents in uncovering these crimes, stressing at the same time the need to take the necessary precautions to secure their property,” the statement added.
