Alawi inaugurates training centre in Oman

Muscat: The Council of Oman launched its training centre under the auspices of Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs in the presence of Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of State Council, and Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura.
The centre will provide orientation, training and rehabilitation programmes needed by honourable members of State Council and members of Majlis Al Shura. Dr. Khalid bin Salim Al Sa'eedi, Secretary General of the State Council said that the establishment of the centre emanates from the belief of senior officials in State Council and Majlis Al Shura in the importance of providing their members and staff with sufficient knowledge and tools.
He added that the centre will host specialists and communicate with similar training centres in different parts of the world to benefit from the experiences and skills available in this field.
