Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantities of khat into the Sultanate and it has seized a boat with three infiltrators on board in South Al Batinah Governorate
A statement issued online by the ROP said: "Coast Guard boats in Dhofar governorate thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of khat by two people on a smuggling boat. Coast Guard boats in South Al Batinah Governorate have also seized a boat with three infiltrators on board.Legal procedures are being completed against them."
