Rumours of Covid-19 treatment department closure quashed in Oman

Muscat: The Government Communications Centre (GC), has termed as fake news, rumours being circulated through social media about the closure of the Covid 19 department in one of the Sultanate's hospitals

A statement issued online by the GC said: "There is no truth to what is being circulated regarding the closure of the Covid-19 department in one of the Sultanate's hospitals. The hospital is still receiving infected cases alongside other hospitals."
