Sultanate to take part in 36th COMCEC meeting

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Said bin Mohamed Al Saqri Minister of Economy will represent the Sultanate in the 36th meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) that is virtually hosted by the Republic of Turkey during the coming 2 days (25 & 26 Nov) 

The meeting will discuss Comcec strategy and the ten years programs (2025) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in addition to reviewing the global economic developments and its impact on the member countries. The Meeting will also discuss the updated reports on the trade between the Islamic countries, fostering the role of the private sector in economic cooperation, eliminating poverty and enhancing financial cooperation between the member countries.

Special breakout sessions will be held alongside the meeting for the exchange of viewpoints to foster entrepreneurship with the objective of enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism industry
