4 arrested for forgery and embezzlement in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested four people on charges of forgery and embezzlement of large sums of money.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Economic Crimes Control Department of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations has arrested four people on charges of forgery and embezzlement of large sums of money, after a bank submitted a report about the incident."

"The Royal Oman Police calls on banking institutions in the Sultanate to adhere to the precautionary measures and supervisory controls," the statement added
