Advisory issued for Omanis planning visit to South Korea

Muscat: The Embassy of Oman in Seoul, South Korea has issued a notice for Omani citizens wishing to visit the country.

A statement issued online by the Embassy said: "The Embassy of the Sultanate reminds the honorable citizens wishing to visit Korea that the Korean authorities will start from January 8 making it mandatory for all arriving passengers to submit a Covid-19 free PCR certificate upon arrival at Korean airports.  Provided that the validity of the certificate does not exceed 72 hours and the authorities will subject the arriving travelers to institutional quarantine for a period of 14 days."
