Oman's Ministry of Manpower contacts 1,100 job seekers for interviews

Muscat: Ministry of Manpower has contacted 1,100 job seekers for interviews, which will be conducted in two weeks.
The move comes under co-operation between the ministry and private sector companies in order to create job opportunities for job seekers in various sectors in the private sector.
Hamad bin Khamis Al Amri, undersecretary of the Ministry of Manpower for Labour Affairs, has inspected the process for conducting recruitment interviews for job seekers.
The ministry has also contacted 550 male job seekers for employment interviews, while another 550 female job seekers were contacted this week.
Yosuf Al Mutawa, deputy director at the Ministry of Manpower, said the ministry is making extra efforts to create work opportunities in the private sector for job seekers.
