Muscat: Vaccination centres in all governorates of Oman have witnessed a huge turnout from the target groups in the national campaign for immunisation against COVID-19 on Sunday.
"The Ministry of Health (MOH) continues the expanded national campaign for immunisation against COVID-19 in all governorates of the Sultanate. The immunisation centres witnessed a huge turnout from the targeted groups on Sunday, from entering the centres till receiving the vaccine," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
The Ministry of Health and Education is continuing a campaign to vaccinate school students aged 12 and above, which has entered its third week. Oman aims to vaccinate 320,000 students from public and private schools.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) also continues to vaccinate people in the targeted groups who are due for the first dose, in addition to providing a second dose to those who have received the dose ten weeks or earlier.
MOH stresses the need to pre-book appointments to ensure a safe and accessible vaccination process for all, while adhering to precautionary measures.
