Over 50 foreigners arrested for trying to enter Oman illegally

Muscat: More than 50 foreign nationals have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

"Coast Guard police boats in North Al Batinah Governorate seized three boats in different locations off the governorate's shores, carrying 52 infiltrators of Asian nationalities while they were trying to enter the country illegally. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
