SAF military committee affirms readiness to tackle impacts of weather condition

Muscat: The Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) Main Military Committee for Management of Emergencies (MCME) has affirmed its full readiness to deal with the adverse weather conditions affecting the Sultanate of Oman.

The MCME recently held a meeting during which it reviewed the latest weather updates. The meeting was headed by Brigadier Hamid Abdullah Al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, Chairman of the MCME.

During the meeting, the committee looked into all measures taken since the announcement of the current weather condition. MCMEsub-committees were activated in Oman governorates expected to take the toll of the weather condition.
