India thrash England by 337 runs

Edgbaston: India defeated England by 337 runs in the Edgbaston Test after Akash Deep got the last wicket of Brydon Carse.

 Akash Deep got a much-deserved six-wicket haul after he ended Brydon Carse's resistance to take India to a famous win against England on Sunday.

Prasidh Krishna provided the much-needed seventh wicket for India as he ended a 46-run stand between Chris Woakes and Jamie Smith as he dismissed Woakes for 7.

Jamie Smith hit his fifth half-century as England's hopes of walking away with a draw relied heavily on his shoulders.
