MUSCAT: Oman Cricket (OC) has announced the extension of its partnership with Skechers, which will continue as an Official Team Partner for the ICC T20 World Cup Asia EAP Qualifiers 2025, taking place in Muscat this October.
The collaboration, facilitated by ITW Consulting, follows Skechers’ successful association with Oman during the Asia Cup 2025, and will once again see the brand featured on the back of the national team’s jersey.
Alkesh Joshi, OC Treasurer, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Skechers beyond the Asia Cup and into the ICC T20 World Cup Asia EAP Qualifiers. Their support comes at a crucial time as our team strives to secure a place in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. This partnership reinforces Oman Cricket’s position as a high-performing nation and our commitment to building a stronger future for the game in Oman.”
A Skechers Middle East spokesperson added: “Skechers is proud to continue its association with the Oman cricket team. This collaboration reflects our shared values of performance, comfort, and resilience. As cricket unites nations on the international stage, we are honoured to stand alongside Oman once again and support their pursuit of excellence.”
Oman’s Asia Cup 2025 campaign earlier this year saw the team go head-to-head with regional heavyweights India and Pakistan. The spirited performances on such a major stage underlined the team’s rapid growth and growing reputation in global cricket, providing the perfect momentum ahead of the high-stakes qualifiers at home.
With Skechers extending its commitment, Oman Cricket continues to strengthen its international profile while aligning with a globally recognised brand that shares its ambition, resilience, and performance-driven spirit. The players will proudly carry the Skechers name into the qualifiers, symbolising a partnership built on trust and the pursuit of excellence.
