
Muscat: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a formal circular on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, regarding the ongoing Class X and Class XII Board Examinations for students residing in the GCC region.
Due to prevailing circumstances, all examinations originally scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026, and Friday, March 6, 2026, have been officially postponed.
This directive affects students across Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait and the UAE.
The Board has confirmed that it will conduct a comprehensive review of the situation on March 5, 2026, to determine the status of examinations scheduled from March 7, 2026, onwards.
Updated dates for the postponed papers will be communicated to schools and students through official notifications in due course.
