Indian Embassy warns against fake advisory circulating on WhatsApp

Muscat: The Embassy of India has issued a notice regarding a fraudulent message currently circulating on WhatsApp that falsely claims to be an official advisory. The Embassy clarifies that no such communication has been issued.

The Embassy said in a statement: "Members of the public are urged to refrain from forwarding or sharing these unverified messages."

The Embassy said that for authentic updates, public should rely solely on the official social media channels of the Embassy of India in Muscat:
