Muscat: More than 20 expats have been arrested in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate for violating labour and residency laws.
Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement: "22 individuals of African and Asian nationalities were arrested in the Wilayats of Mudhaibi and Sinaw by North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command for violating labour and residency law. Legal proceedings are being completed against them."
