Two citizens airlifted after serious crash on Sultan Said bin Taimur Street in Haima

Muscat: The Air Wing of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) carried out a medical evacuation for two Omani citizens who sustained serious injuries in a traffic collision on Sultan Said bin Taimur Street in the Wilayat of Haima.

The accident occurred in the Saih Al Zamayim area when their vehicle collided with a truck, leaving the two occupants with critical injuries that required urgent air evacuation to Nizwa Hospital for specialised medical treatment.

Three other injured individuals were transported by ambulance teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority to Haima Hospital to receive the necessary medical care.

Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the crash, and the incident underscores the vital role of the Royal Oman Police Air Wing in providing rapid emergency medical response to remote areas across the Sultanate.
