Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has prohibited the sale and circulation of the “Na! Na! Na! Surprise” interactive children's doll after identifying the product as a potential risk to children's health and safety.
The ban applies to Model No. 3435, manufactured in China, bearing the barcode 6991205071633.
According to the ministry, the product contains chemical compounds that may pose a health hazard to children, prompting authorities to order its immediate withdrawal from the market.
The warning was issued by the Directorate General for Standards and Metrology based on Gulf Rapid Alert Systemnotification (AIN-35), which monitors unsafe products circulating in regional markets.
The ministry urged retailers to immediately stop selling the product and advised consumers to avoid purchasing or using the affected toy to ensure children's safety.
