Environment Authority conducts beach cleanup campaign in Masirah

Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) has conducted a campaign to clean the beaches of Al-Aijah in the Wilayat of Masirah, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

A statement issued online by the Environment Authority said: "The Environment Center in the Wilayat of Masirah, in cooperation with the Excellence Team, the Free Path for Volunteer Work, and Masirah Municipality, carried out a campaign to clean the beaches of Al-Aijah, which resulted in the collection and removal of quantities of waste, fishing nets, and neglected ropes, which contributes to promoting a culture of volunteer work and preserving the environment."
