
Muscat: Muscat Municipality has announced the enforcement of a number of judicial rulings aimed at removing violations involving encroachments on government-owned land in the Wilayat of Al Amerat.
According to the municipality, the actions were carried out in coordination with the Public Prosecution and with the support of the Royal Oman Police. The measures included the implementation of court orders to remove unauthorized structures and possessions established on government land in violation of existing laws and regulations.
Muscat Municipality stated that the enforcement campaign reflects its commitment to protecting public property and preventing illegal occupation of state-owned land. The municipality emphasized that government lands are subject to legal protection and that any unauthorized use or development will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
“The implementation of these rulings demonstrates the municipality’s determination to safeguard government property and address any form of encroachment,” the statement said.
Officials further noted that Muscat Municipality continues to monitor and document violations within its jurisdiction. The municipality affirmed that it will take all necessary legal measures against offenders and ensure that court decisions are executed to preserve public assets and maintain orderly urban development.
