Citizens face six months in jail for hunting Arabian gazelles in Muscat

Muscat: The Muscat Court of Appeal has sentenced several citizens to six months in prison following their conviction in an Arabian gazelle hunting case in Muscat Governorate.

Environment Authority (EA), said in a statement :"The Muscat Court of Appeal issued a ruling against citizens in a case involving the hunting of Arabian gazelles. The court sentenced the defendants to six months in prison, ordered the confiscation of the seized items, and obligated them to pay all court costs."
