ROP arrest suspect in Nizwa charity box theft

Muscat: Royal Police has reported two separate incidents involving theft and illegal entry into the Sultanate of Oman.

The Directorate of Police in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate arrested a person for allegedly stealing sums of money from collection boxes belonging to a charitable endowment institution in the Wilayat of Nizwa.

In a separate case, the Directorate of Police in North Al Batinah Governorate arrested 24 infiltrators in the Wilayat of Al Khaburah for entering the country illegally. 

ROP said: “The legal procedures are being completed against the accused.”
