Khasab: The Municipal Council of Musandam Governorate on Tuesday held its 7th meeting of the year (2026) under the chairmanship of Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, in his capacity as Chairman of the Municipal Council.
The Municipal Council discussed a number of topics related to domestic development and public services. The meeting dealt with the concepts of sustainability and efficiency, the establishment of an integrated tourist port in the Wilayat of Khasab and proposals to support the tourism sector in Musandam amid regional developments.
The Council also looked into proposals to address beach erosion at Bassa Beach in the Wilayat of Khasab, development needs in the Wilayat of Daba and coordination with the government departments concerned.
