Meeting addresses ways to enhance media cooperation

Ibra: The Ministry of Information and the Office of the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah held a meeting on Thursday at the governorate's headquarters in the Wilayat of Ibra, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, and Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhuhli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance the role of media in introducing developmental projects and achievements, promoting investment opportunities in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and highlighting its comparative advantage and assets to achieve the targets of Vision 2040. The meeting also touched upon the importance of cooperation and coordination with government entities to facilitate the work of media outlets and the performance of their message.

During the meeting, the Minister of Information was briefed on the communication and media system in the governorate, as well as the efforts exerted by media outlets in highlighting these achievements and their impact on economic and social growth.

For his part, the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah emphasised the importance of partnership with media outlets in introducing the economic and tourism capabilities of the governorate, thereby enhancing its media presence, supporting the diversification of economic activities, attracting investments, and achieving sustainable development.
