MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolence and sympathy to His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain following the deadly collision of two high-speed trains in Toledo province in central Spain.
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to King Felipe VI, the bereaved families, and the friendly people of Spain, wishing the injured a swift recovery.
The incident occurred near Urda on the Madrid–Andalusia high-speed rail line, approximately 120 kilometers south of Madrid.
