​Ministry denies social media rumours about early school semester deadline

Muscat: The Ministry of Education has denied what is being circulated in social media about the first semester for primary students in Oman's schools ending early.

In a statement online, the ministry addressed rumours that the primary students' (1-4) first semester will be completed on Wednesday, 26 December, 2018, saying instead, "The Ministry confirms that the duration of the semester will continue until Thursday, January 17, 2019."
