Man dies after fall from mountain in Oman

Muscat: One person has died after falling from a mountain in Rustaq, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) tweeted on their official Twitter handle.
“We rushed to the accident spot in Yaqa area as soon as we were alerted. However, we couldn’t rescue his life. The deceased’s body has been shifted to the hospital,” the PACDA tweeted.
Last year in August, a British woman in her thirties was found dead in Wadi Al Sameeh in the province of Mahda. The woman was hiking with 11 other tourists on the Wadi Al Sameenah Mountain. She had lost her track and was later found dead by PACDA rescue team.
